A lovely sweet easy drinking whisky of the highest standard. Matured in 100% American oak first-fill barrels and rejuvenated hogsheads and made with malt from the villages of Elgin, Longmorn and Ballindalloch, with single grain from Fife.
Nose: Grainy, soft fruit, grassy, hessian and a whiff of smoke. More bourbon character becomes evident with time. Palate: Some creamy vanilla, light fruitiness with a bitter/dry finish. Overall: An easy drinking, light whisky.
